Lab comments:
The 5-MeO-aET (syn: 5-MeO-AET) was identified by library match.
Shiny tan powder in baggie.
Tentative identification:
''The unidentified substance in this sample has a different molecular ion, but shares a major fragment with N-methyl-Pinoline at 173.0, and another at 156. It would be plausible that it could be N-ethyl-Pinoline, from the MS alone. That would have a molecular ion of ~230.25, and the ethyl would fall off in the same way the methyl does.'' (Thanks, Borax!)

This identification is seconded by Y. (Thanks Y.!)

N-ethyl-Pinoline and possibly even the other chemicals detected besides 5-MeO-DMT in this sample could be synthesis impurities.
Our lab's analytical process does not determine the salt anion. Whether this is a salt or freebase isn't something we can confirm or reject.
